Puff stitch flower

Yes another flower, I guess I love flowers! :) 

This is the perfect flower to put on house shoes, well anything really.  It's fast simple and easy to do.

What you'll need:

Scraps of yarn, less than 10 yards. any color or weight you like.

A crochet hook to coordinate with yarn

scissors

(I used 5.50 mm hook with medium weight yarn.)

Abbreviations:

Sc - Single Crochet

sl st - Slip Stitch

pf - puff stitch

YO - yarn over

Stitch Guide:

The puff stitch is worked by YO, insert your hook into the stitch, YO and draw up a loop. YO, insert your hook into the same stitch, YO and draw up a loop (should be 9 loops on your hook). Now Yo and pull through all 9 loops on your hook.

Round 1: Create a magic ring with 6 sc. pull the tail to close the ring, and sl st into the first sc to join. (if changing colors here is where you bind off)

Round 2: Ch 3. * Create a pf into the same stitch. Ch 3 sl st into the next stitch Repeat from * around. You should have 6 petals at the end of round 2. Bind off and weave in ends.
