This is my favorite crocheted coaster, I'm making them to sell in my flea market booth, here in my home town. I thought I would share so you can make your own. Enjoy!
To make these crocheted coasters you will need...
8 ply cotton yarn
3 mm or 3.50 mm hook
Needle to sew in ends
Pattern...
Chain 6 to form a ring.
Chain 3 (counts as first DC) and DC 19 into the ring (20DC) Join with a Sl St into the top of the starting chain 3 to complete the round.
Chain 3, DC in the next Stitch and Chain 2, DC in the next 2 Stitches, Chain 2 – repeat around. Join with a SS into the top of the starting chain 3 to complete the round.
Sl St into the next Chain 2 space, Chain 3, DC, Chain 3, 2DC into the first chain 2 space, 2DC, chain 3, 2DC into each remaining chain 2 space – repeat around. Join with a SS into the top of the starting chain 3 to complete the round.
Sl St to next chain 3 space. Chain 3, 7 DC in space, 8 DC into each chain 3 space around. Join with a SS into the top of the starting chain 3 to complete the round.
Turn over and sew in the ends…
These cute flower coasters are perfect for a hot summer day or a chilly autumn morning.
